Andrew McCagg

Andrew McCagg | Senior Client Portfolio Manager, Nomura Asset Management

Andrew McCagg is Senior Client Portfolio Manager for Japanese Equities based at Nomura Asset Management UK. Ltd. in London. He joined Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd. Tokyo in 2008, having graduated with a B.A. in linguistics from the International Christian University. He first worked as Assistant Portfolio Manager at the Advisory Fund Management Department and joined the Japanese Equity team in 2011.

Chris Garston

Chris Garston | Lead manager,  European Capital Growth Fund, W1M

Chris joined the company in May 2016 as lead manager of the European Capital Growth Fund. Chris has been managing the Fund since its inception, when he co-founded 2CG Limited in 2000. Previously he was a Director at Credit Suisse on the Europe ex-UK equities team. Chris graduated from London Guildhall University in 1986. 

Craig Rippe

Craig Rippe | Co-Fund Manager, Keyridge

Craig joined the Keyridge team (formerly Canda Life Asset Management) in March 2004. He became Head of UK Equities in March 2010 and was appointed Head of Multi-Asset in May 2018. He previously managed income funds at Govett Investment Management Limited and prior to that worked at Deloitte Touche. Craig has a BSc in Mathematics from Warwick University. He is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA Charterholder. 

Dan Brocklebank, Head of UK, Orbis Investments

Dan Brocklebank | Head of UK, Orbis Investments

Dan Brocklebank, Master of Arts (Honours) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Brasenose College, University of Oxford), Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst. Dan joined Orbis in 2002 as part of the investment team and was, most recently, responsible for leading the global sector investment team in London. In 2016 he was appointed to lead Orbis' UK operations and in 2023, he became a director of the Independent Investment Management Initiative. He previously worked at Arthur Andersen.

Douglas Hayes

Douglas Hayes | Senior Equity Analyst

Douglas is a Senior Equity Analyst for the Global Listed Infrastructure Team at Nomura Asset Management International, covering transportation and communication infrastructure across Europe, North America, and Brazil. He joined Nomura Asset Management as part of Nomura’s acquisition of Macquarie Asset Management’s US and European public investments business in 2025.

Previously, Douglas held the same role at Macquarie Asset Management, which he joined in 2015. Prior to Macquarie, Douglas was an Equity Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley in London, covering the European freight transport, shipping, postal & express, rail, and port sectors. Douglas started his career as a Quantitative Research Associate at MFS Investment Management.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in economics with a minor in psychology from Bowdoin College.

Helen Roughsedge

Helen Roughsedge | Investment Director, Fulcrum

Helen joined Fulcrum as Investment Director in July 2023 from Legal & General Investment Management where she was looking after large UK institutional clients. Previously she has worked as a Relationship Manager at GMO, a Senior Strategist in the multi-asset team at UBS Asset Management and in a variety of client-facing and investment product-focused roles at AXA Rosenberg, Man Group and JP Morgan. Helen started her career working as an auditor with KPMG and graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Exeter. At Fulcrum, Helen works as part of the Investment Team in a product specialist capacity as well as helping to maximise the overall client experience.

Hugh Yarrow

Hugh Yarrow | Co-Founder & Portfolio Manager, Evenlode Income · Evenlode UK Select

Hugh has been a manager of Evenlode Income since launch in October 2009. Previously he managed several equity income funds at Rathbone UTM.

Ian Lance

Ian Lance | Portfolio Manager, Redwheel Value and Income Strategy

Ian joined Redwheel in August 2010 to build the Redwheel UK Value and Income Team together with Nick Purves. He started working with Nick at Schroders in 2007 before joining Redwheel in August 2010. Whilst at Schroders he was a senior portfolio manager managing the Institutional Specialist Value Funds, the Schroder Income Fund and Income Maximiser Fund together with Nick. Ian started his career in 1988 and held various roles in asset management including as Head of European Equities and Director of Research at Citigroup. 

Polina Kurdyavko

Polina Kurdyavko | Head of Emerging Market Debt, RBC BlueBay

Polina is a senior portfolio manager & head of Emerging Markets on the BlueBay Fixed Income team. Polina oversees investments across all EM strategies and is a lead portfolio manager for several flagship funds in EM sovereign, credit, and local markets, including long only and alternative products. Polina started her career in emerging markets after the Russian financial crisis in 1998 and has, since then, gained expertise across a broad range of emerging market financial assets. Polina joined the firm in 2005 from UBS, where she was a credit analyst in EM corporate research. Her role encompassed coverage of EM issuers as well as research support for primary issuance of corporate debt. Prior to this, Polina was with Alliance Capital where she was an emerging markets equity analyst and then moved on to pioneer emerging markets quantitative research at the firm. Richard "Dickie" Hodges

Richard "Dickie" Hodges | Head of Total Return & Unconstrained Fixed Income, Nomura Asset Management

Dickie has managed the Nomura Global Dynamic Bond Fund since 2015. Prior to joining Nomura Asset Management, Dickie held the role of Head of High Alpha Fixed Income at Legal & General Investment Management, for 7 years and spent 18 years at Gartmore. Dickie began his career in 1986 at Chase Manhattan Bank in Fixed Income operations, before joining Natwest Investment where he was responsible for management of a number of specialist investment funds employing derivatives and cash instruments to implement quantitative strategies. He is responsible for all decisions on GDBF.

Richard Carlyle

Richard Carlyle | Equity Investment Director & Portfolio Strategy Manager, Capital Group

Richard Carlyle is an equity investment director and portfolio strategy manager at Capital Group. He has 44 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 20 years. Prior to joining Capital, he was head of equities for Henderson Investors. Before that, he was a fund manager for Morgan Grenfell Asset Management, a pension fund manager for British Petroleum, and an analyst for Equity & Law Life Assurance Society. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from Leicester University. Richard is based in London. 

Rupert Harrison

Rupert Harrison | Senior UK Adviser, PIMCO

Mr. Harrison is a senior advisor to PIMCO's U.K. portfolio management team. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2025, he spent nine years at BlackRock as a portfolio manager and head of research for the multi-asset strategies group, managing assets across global macro, ESG, and climate strategies. From 2022–2023 he chaired the new Economic Advisory Council to help stabilize the U.K. economy. From 2010–2015 he was chair of the U.K. Council of Economic Advisors and served as chief of staff to Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne. Mr. Harrison is a regular commentator on economics, politics, and financial markets in both written and broadcast media, and his academic research has been published in the American Economic Review and the Economic Journal. He has nine years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in economics from University College London.
