Colin Finlayson, Investment Manager, is a member of the Global Rates and Multi-Sector portfolio management teams. He specialises in global government bonds and relative-value analysis. Colin is the co-manager of our absolute return bond fund as well as our strategic bond funds. Colin has been in the industry since 2000 and started with the firm in 2000 directly from the University of Strathclyde, where he studied Economics and Finance. Colin is a CFA charterholder.

Mike joined Allianz Global Investors in 2015 as a senior portfolio manager and has 20 years’ experience in fixed income markets. Mike is head of AllianzGI's Macro Unconstrained Fixed Income Team and is the lead portfolio manager on the Allianz Strategic Bond, Allianz Index-Linked Gilt, Allianz Gilt Yield funds. Prior to joining AllianzGI, Mike worked with M&G in London for 12 years running bond portfolios, and prior to that at Premier Asset Management. As well as depth of experience, Mike’s experience has breadth, having run a range of UK and global fixed income portfolios over his career, covering both developed markets and emerging markets.

Dickie Hodges has managed the Nomura Global Dynamic Bond Fund since 2015.  Prior to joining Nomura Asset Management, Dickie held the role of Head of High Alpha Fixed Income at Legal & General Investment Management, managing its “Dynamic Bond Trust” – an unconstrained fixed income fund which he managed from its inception in 2007 until April 2014. He spent 18 years at Gartmore where he was Head of Pan European Portfolio Construction with responsibility for both their SICAV European Corporate Bond Fund and their SICAV European Bond Fund. Dickie began his career in 1986 at Chase Manhattan Bank in Fixed Income operations, before joining Natwest Investment where he was responsible for management of a number of specialist investment funds employing derivatives and cash instruments to implement quantitative strategies.

Gregoire Mivela | GAM

Gregoire Mivelaz is a Fund Manager and a member of Atlanticomnium’s Management Committee. He joined Atlanticomnium in 2009 and co-manages the GAM Credit Opportunities and GAM Climate Bond strategies. Gregoire has over 20 years’ experience in bond markets, both on the buy as well as sell-side, having held various positions such as Head of Credit Research as well as Credit Analyst. Gregoire graduated from the University of St Gallen and holds a BA in Finance and Capital Markets, an MA in Economics and is a CAIA Charter Holder as well as holds the CFA UK Certificate in ESG investing. He is based in Geneva.

Chris manages the UK Equity Income strategies at Aviva Investors. Within the UK Equities team, Chris also has lead sector coverage responsibilities for Capital Goods and Materials. Chris joined Aviva Investors in 2006 from Framlington Investment Management where he was responsible for managing the firm’s UK income and growth retail portfolios. Chris began his investment career in 1988 as a graduate UK equity analyst for Lehman Bros before joining James Capel in UK equity analyst role. Chris holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from University College, Cardiff and holds the IIMR (Institute of Investment Management Research) qualification.

Simon joined Unicorn in 2008 and is co-manager of the Unicorn UK Income Strategy and lead manager of the Unicorn UK Smaller Companies Fund as well as collaborating with the wider Unicorn Investment team. Prior to joining Unicorn Simon worked as a research analyst at JM Finn & Co. Stockbrokers and spent three years in the NHS graduate finance scheme.

Simon is Chief Investment Officer, UK Equities and is head of the Value & Income Investment Style Team. He manages The Merchants Trust plc and co-manages the Allianz UK Listed Equity Income Fund. Simon joined AllianzGI in April 2006 from HSBC Halbis Partners, where he was Head of Institutional UK Equities. At HSBC Simon was the portfolio manager of the HSBC Income Funds, with assets under management of £950 million. He also managed a number of segregated institutional accounts. Prior to HSBC, Simon was an Executive Director at Phillips & Drew Fund Management Ltd (a subsidiary of UBS), where he spent 14 years as a portfolio manager with responsibility for £1 billion of segregated pension fund assets and with direct responsibility for £500 million of UK equity assets.

Robin Ghosh | Senior Investment & Research Manager

Robin began his career as a Stockbroker on the global corporate dealing desk at Dealwise (now TD Waterhouse) with a move to BWD Rensburg (now Investec) as a Discretionary Investment Manager in 2004. Before joining the investment management team at Lupton Fawcett Solicitors in 2012 Robin also gained significant experience as an independent financial adviser. Robin brings a great deal of knowledge and skill, enhancing the RSMR research team. Robin reports to Ken Rayner, CEO, and his main responsibilities are to manage and grow the discretionary funds service. Robin works with both consultancy and portfolio clients in the sphere of general research with a spotlight on ethical & SRI funds and investment trusts.

Stewart joined RSMR in August 2011 and has played a key role in the development of the market-leading RSMR ratings service and also manages a large number of bespoke advisory portfolios on behalf of a wide range of IFA clients. He is lead Portfolio Manager for the Rfolios discretionary portfolios having been involved since their launch as well as the management of the preceding advisory portfolios from their launch back in 2015. Stewart joined RSMR from Honister Capital where he was part of the internal research team responsible for fund and product research, including construction of the recommended fund and product lists for the company’s financial advisers involving, amongst other aspects, face-to-face meetings with fund managers and attending conferences.

Mr. Johnson received his B.A. degree from Harvard College in 1984 and his M.B.A. degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1989. Prior to entering graduate school, he worked for three years as a securities analyst with Fred Alger Management. Mr. Johnson joined Dodge & Cox in 1989. He is a shareholder of the firm and a CFA charterholder.

Lauren A. Romeo joined the firm in 2004. Previously, she was a Portfolio Manager at Dalton Greiner, Hartman & Maher (since 2001), an Analyst with Legg Mason Funds Management (2000-2001), and an Analyst with T. Rowe Price Group (1996-2000). Ms. Romeo holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a CFA® charterholder.

Paul Flood | BNY Mellon Investment Management

Paul is a portfolio manager and strategist at Newton. He is a portfolio manager on the Newton Global Income strategy and is also lead manager of the Newton Multi-Asset Income strategy and the Newton Multi-Asset Diversified Return strategy. He also provides leadership and analysis on asset allocation, derivatives and convertible bonds for the wider firm, having spent the earlier part of his career working on strategic asset allocation and derivative strategy. Paul is responsible for generating ideas within alternative assets and has been leading in this area since 2008. He is a member of the asset class strategy group and provides feedback to the wider house on strategic and tactical asset allocation. Paul joined Newton in 2004. He is a CFA1 charterholder and has completed the certificate in quantitative finance (CQF) after passing with distinction. Paul studied Astrophysics at the University of St Andrews and is a keen cyclist and runner, having recently cycled the length of the UK from Land’s End to John O’Groats and often participates in marathons.

Peter Bye is the Lead Portfolio Manager and Head of UBS Asset Management's US Large and Mid-Cap Growth Equity team. He is also Portfolio Manager for the Digital Transformation Equity strategy, a Global Growth Equity strategy. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, Peter is responsible for analysis and issue selection in the health care sector. Peter joined UBS Asset Management in 2010 after twelve years in equity research on the sell side covering health care sectors at Cowen & Co., Citigroup, Wachovia and most recently at Jefferies and Co. where he was mentioned as one of the Best on the Street in the 2010 Wall Street Journal survey. Prior to his equity research career, Peter worked in the quantitative research department at Putnam Investments in Boston, analyzing portfolio strategies, risk, security modeling, and performance attribution among the companies taxable fixed income groups.

Murdo is a client investment manager at Walter Scott, having joined the firm in 2006 and spent 12 years in the Research team focused on Japanese and US equities. He joined the Client Service team in January 2019. Prior to joining Walter Scott Murdo lived and worked in Japan for six years. He holds a BA (Hons) in Japanese and Marketing from the University of Stirling and level 1 Japanese language proficiency test.

Matthew joined Guinness Global Investors in September 2005 is co-manager of the Guinness Global Equity Income Fund and the Guinness Global Innovators Fund. Previously, he joined Goldman Sachs on the Graduate scheme working in Foreign Exchange and then Fixed Income. Matthew graduated from New College, University of Oxford in 2004 with a Master’s degree in Physics. Matthew is a CFA charterholder.

Gabrielle is responsible for Troy’s Global Equity Strategy and is Head of Research. Gabrielle was promoted to the board in 2020. She is the Fund Manager for the Trojan Global Equity Fund and the Electric & General Investment Fund. Gabrielle has 29 years’ investment experience, has managed global equity portfolios since 2001 and European portfolios since 1998. Joining Troy at the end of 2011, previously Gabrielle was a Senior Managing Director at Lazard Asset Management where she worked for 17 years and was responsible for Global and European portfolios. Gabrielle graduated from University College Dublin gaining a BA in History and Economics and an MA in Economics. She holds the ASIP qualification and is an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK. Gabrielle was appointed to the Board of Witan Investment Trust in August 2019.

Alex Araujo joined M&G’s equity income team in July 2015 and became co-deputy manager of the M&G Global Dividend strategy in April 2016. He has been manager of the M&G Global Listed Infrastructure strategy since it was launched in October 2017, and was appointed manager of the M&G Global Themes strategy in January 2019. Alex has 25 years of experience in financial markets, having previously worked at UBS and BMO Financial Group. He graduated from the University of Toronto with an MA in economics and is a CFA charterholder.

Dean Cheeseman is a Portfolio Manager on the UK-based Multi-Asset Team at Janus Henderson Investors. He has co-managed the International Concentrated Equity strategy since 2019. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, he was a portfolio manager and member of the asset allocation committee from 2011 at Mercer, where he contributed tactical asset allocation ideas for all multi-asset and equity strategies. Before that, Dean was with F&C Asset Management from 2007 to 2010, finishing his tenure as head of fund of funds. Earlier, he was head of developed markets with Forsyth Partners from 2001 and head of collective investments at Morgan Stanley’s Quilter from 1998. He began his career as an investment analyst in 1995 with Chartwell House Asset Management.

Becky joined Fidelity Multi Asset as a Manager Research Analyst in 2014.  She provides senior oversight and expertise in manager research across global fixed income strategies, both from within Fidelity and across the investment industry, supporting Portfolio Managers in accessing markets through the optimal underlying investment strategies. Prior to joining Fidelity Becky worked at KPMG Investment Advisory as an Assistant Investment Consultant. She covered Fixed Income and Property research and was responsible for advising on the investment strategy of pension scheme clients.  Becky received a BA in Economics from Cambridge University as well as an MSc in Development Administration & Planning from the University College London.  Becky is a CFA Chartholder and CAIA Chartholder.

Guy Glover, MRICS, is a Fund Manager for the BMO UK Property Fund and the Responsible Housing REIT plc. Guy has over 25 years’ experience in property and joined the Group in 2004. Guy is a Chartered Surveyor and holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Land Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Property Investment. Prior to BMO REP, Guy worked for 9 years at Wereldhave Property Corporation plc, where he was responsible for asset managing their UK portfolio. Guy sits on the management board of the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF).
