Networking drinks

Welcome to the 7th RSMR
London Conference 2025

On behalf of the RSMR team I would very much like to welcome you to our 7th annual London Investment Conference.

This year we have chosen to concentrate on the issues that affect financial planners looking to invest in a more volatile environment, including a focus on multi-asset and income investing. 2024 saw sentiment fluctuate as normal, but was generally a calmer year for investors, as risk assets moved steadily upwards on the coat tails of a narrow range of stocks that dominated regional stock markets. Geopolitical events came to the fore with a higher-than-average number of elections in western democracies, resulting in significant change, as ruling parties fell out of favour with the electorate. Inflation and central bank actions certainly drove a lot of the markets’ movements and subsequently investor behaviour during the year.

2025 has started positively but will risk assets continue to dominate and will the US keep marching ahead of the rest of the world? I hope that you'll enjoy and benefit from the discussion and debate of these issues and many more in the presentations and panel debates today.

We have been supporting and helping advisers in the provision of advice to their clients through reliable investment research and analysis for over 20 years and we know that advisers derive a great amount of value from the discussions, debates and networking opportunities provided by this event. Thank you for joining us today and for your support over recent years, we look forward to working with you for many more to come.

Ken Rayner, CEO

Very best wishes,
Ken Rayner
