Dominic O’Connell is one of the UK’s leading business broadcasters and commentators. As a business presenter on Times Radio and Saturday business columnist for The Times newspaper, Dominic is a leading voice and expert across the London financial landscape. For five years Dominic was a business presenter on the BBC’s flagship Today programme and appeared regularly on BBC television as a reporter and commentator. He joined the BBC from The Sunday Times where he was business editor for six years. He has won several national journalism awards, including the Wincott Award in 2017, the premier award for business writers and broadcasters.
Brad is Head of Global Listed Infrastructure and is the lead Portfolio Manager for Macquarie’s Global Listed Infrastructure strategies, a role he assumed in December 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Brad was Managing Director and US Equity Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he was responsible for managing portfolios and businesses in London, Tokyo, and New York for more than a decade. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and a Master of Arts from Trinity College. Brad holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Mr. Watford is an executive vice president and portfolio manager in the London office, focusing on high yield and multi-sector credit opportunities. He is a member of the diversified income, high yield, and credit research teams. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2007, Mr. Watford was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. He has 21 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a master's degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford.
Chris Hiorns joined EdenTree in 1996 and has been running responsible and sustainable money since 2008. Chris is EdenTree’s Head of Multi-Asset and European Equities. Chris holds an MSc in Economics from University College London and is a CFA Charterholder.
Chris joined Waverton in May 2016 as lead manager of the European Capital Growth Fund. Chris has been managing the Fund since its inception, when he co-founded 2CG Limited in 2000. Previously he was a Director at Credit Suisse on the Europe ex-UK equities team. Chris graduated from London Guildhall University in 1986.
Dan Brocklebank, Master of Arts (Honours) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Brasenose College, University of Oxford), Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst. Dan joined Orbis in 2002 as part of the investment team and was, most recently, responsible for leading the global sector investment team in London. In 2016 he was appointed to lead Orbis' UK operations and in 2023, he became a director of the Independent Investment Management Initiative. He previously worked at Arthur Andersen.
Edward joined Chelverton Asset Management in 2016 joined as an Assistant Fund Manager, becoming a Fund Manager in November 2017. Having graduated from the London School of Economics with a degree in Economics with Economic History, Edward qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, where he focused on the Insurance sector. Prior to joining Chelverton, he worked as a Business Analyst for Barclays, focusing on a number of areas including Investment Bank Revenue and Group Capital performance.
Helen joined Fulcrum as Investment Director in July 2023 from Legal & General Investment Management where she was looking after large UK institutional clients. Previously she has worked as a Relationship Manager at GMO, a Senior Strategist in the multi-asset team at UBS Asset Management and in a variety of client-facing and investment product-focused roles at AXA Rosenberg, Man Group and JP Morgan. Helen started her career working as an auditor with KPMG and graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Exeter. At Fulcrum, Helen works as part of the Investment Team in a product specialist capacity as well as helping to maximise the overall client experience.
Jerry had a 14 year career in the City during which he worked in the Gilt market and co-founded an independent Gilt broker. He then spent 5 years as a professional investor in derivatives, trading a global macro derivatives book. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds Financial Express Alpha Manager status, something he has achieved nine years running, placing him in the FE Alpha Manager Hall of Fame. Jerry has managed our Investment Grade Fixed Interest Fund since 2004 and has co-managed our Tenax since inception of the fund in 2007. Jerry became CEO on 1st January 2022.
John Lamb is an Investment Specialist at Capital Group. He has eight years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for five years. Prior to joining Capital, John worked as a Strategic Product Management Associate at BlackRock. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Dickie Hodges has managed the Nomura Global Dynamic Bond Fund since 2015. Prior to joining Nomura Asset Management, Dickie held the role of Head of High Alpha Fixed Income at Legal & General Investment Management, managing its “Dynamic Bond Trust” – an unconstrained fixed income fund which he managed from its inception in 2007 until April 2014. He spent 18 years at Gartmore where he was Head of Pan European Portfolio Construction with responsibility for both their SICAV European Corporate Bond Fund and their SICAV European Bond Fund. Dickie began his career in 1986 at Chase Manhattan Bank in Fixed Income operations, before joining Natwest Investment where he was responsible for management of a number of specialist investment funds employing derivatives and cash instruments to implement quantitative strategies.
Simon joined Unicorn in 2008 and is co-manager of the Unicorn UK Income Strategy, UK Smaller Companies and UK Growth Funds as well as collaborating with the Investment team across the OEIC, AIM VCT, AIM IHT Portfolios and Managed Accounts. Prior to joining Unicorn, Simon worked as a research analyst at JM Finn & Co. Stockbrokers and spent three years in the NHS graduate finance scheme.
Will is a Fund Manager at Gravis having joined the company in 2017. He is the adviser to the VT Gravis UK Infrastructure Income Fund and VT Gravis Clean Energy Income Fund. Will has 18 years’ experience working as a buyside analyst and portfolio manager, focusing on investments in equities and closed-ended companies. He has been investing in the listed infrastructure sector since 2006. Will graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in mathematics and is a CFA charterholder.
