Stuart graduated from the University of Wales Swansea with a degree in Law and commenced his career in finance in 2004 at HSBC in Canary Wharf. He has gained wide range of experience in finance ranging from investment management and investment banking to financial trading and market making. Prior to joining RSMR, Stuart worked for over 6 years at London based IFA Holden & Partners as Investment Manager leading the in-house investment team. This included portfolio construction (including SRI & ESG portfolios), investment research, conducting face-to-face meetings with both fund managers and clients and being a member of the internal investment committee. Stuart is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and holds the Chartered Wealth Manager (level 7) qualification. Additionally, he holds the IMC and the CII Diploma in Financial Planning.
Alex is Lead Investment Manager of the Jupiter UK Dynamic Equity Fund. He joined Jupiter in October 2024 to lead the renamed UK Special Situations Fund. Prior to joining Jupiter Alex spent 21 years at J O Hambro Capital Management where he was Senior Fund Manager of the JOHCM UK Dynamic Fund, a strategy which he developed and launched in 2008. From its launch to the end of Alex’s tenure in January 2024 the Fund had a strong track record, delivering consistent outperformance of its designated benchmark over a long timeframe and growing materially over that period.
Blake Crawford, Executive Director, is a portfolio manager within the J.P. Morgan Asset Management International Equity Group, based in London. He is a member of the Dynamic investment team. An employee since 2008, Blake joined the firm as a graduate trainee. Blake obtained a BSc in Economics from the University of Bath and is a CFA charterholder.
Fraser joined Unicorn in 2008 and is co-manager of the Unicorn UK Income Strategy, UK Smaller Companies & UK Growth Funds as well as collaborating with the Investment team across the OEIC, AIM VCT, AIM IHT Portfolios and Managed Accounts. Having previously held positions with F&C Asset Management and Geoghegan & Co Chartered Accountants, Fraser graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2003 with a degree in Economics and Management and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
Marcel joined Fidelity as an analyst in 2014. He initially covered US tech as an MBA intern, before being hired full-time to cover European Software and IT services and thereafter European Aerospace, Defence and Airlines. After a highly rated period in research, Marcel was promoted to Portfolio Manager and he has co-managed the Fidelity European Fund and Fidelity European Trust PLC since August 2020.Prior to joining Fidelity, Marcel worked as an investment banker at Barclays. Marcel holds an MBA (INSEAD), is a CFA charter holder and graduated with a Business Science (Hons) in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
Samantha Gleave joined Liontrust in 2012 and since then has managed the Cashflow Solution range of funds in conjunction with James Inglis-Jones. She began her career at Sutherlands Ltd as a Consumer Analyst before moving on to Fleming Investment Management as senior Investment Analyst covering Pan Europe where she worked with James Inglis-Jones. Samantha moved to Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Ltd in 2000 and was in a No 1 ranked equity research sector team (Extel & Institutional Investor Surveys). In 2005, she moved to Bank of America Merrill Lynch and became a Senior Equity Analyst and Director and won awards for Top Stock Pick and Earnings Estimates. Samantha graduated from Aberdeen University in 1995 with an MA Honours degree in Economics & Management.
William joined Artemis in 2015. He works with Mark Niznik managing Artemis’ ‘UK smaller companies’ strategy. He graduated from Oxford in 2006 with a degree in economics and management and joined Citigroup as an equity research analyst in the UK small- and mid-cap team.
William moved to Liberum in 2009, where he continued to work in small- and mid-cap equity research, specialising in support services. William is a CFA charterholder.
