Ken Rayner

Ken Rayner | CEO | RSMR

A founding director of RSMR, Ken began his career in the investment industry in 1989, shortly after graduating from Leeds University with a Degree in Economics and Economic History. He joined Bradford & Bingley in 1990, where he held a number of product and marketing roles and latterly had responsibility for all financial services product development and pricing. In addition he was Investment Fund Manager for Bradford & Bingley’s PEP and ISA Discretionary Management business, where he controlled client funds in excess of £700m. Ken is ACII and IMC qualified. Ken sits on the Investment Committee of a number of advisory firms to help them deliver their investment strategies. As a well-known figure on the UK investment circuit, Ken spends much of his time in face to face meetings with fund managers, which is vital in understanding how funds are managed

Daniel Hurley, Portfolio Specialist

Daniel Hurley | Portfolio Specialist, T. Rowe Price

Daniel Hurley is a portfolio specialist in the International Equity Division. He also is a member of the global equity and Japan equity investment teams. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. Daniel’s investment experience began in 2007, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2010, beginning in the Equity Division. Prior to this, Daniel was employed by Royal London Asset Management. Daniel earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Liverpool. Daniel also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are registered trademarks owned by CFA Institute.

George Dent

George Dent | Investment Manager, Walter Scott & Partners Ltd - BNY Mellon Investment Management

George started his career as an Investment Manager at Walter Scott in 2008, having previously lived and worked in both China and London. His first few years at the firm were spent focusing purely on research, this included covering companies in the US and Europe as well as introducing Google (now Alphabet) to portfolios in 2010. In late 2011, George took on the additional responsibility of looking after the firm’s distribution partner relationships in Canada and the Far East. Having spent a number of years playing an important role building up Walter Scott’s presence in Canada, George was asked in 2018 to assume responsibility for growing the business in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. Based in Edinburgh, he remains a part of the broader investment team. George holds a BSc (hons) in Financial Economics from the University of St. Andrews and became a CFA charterholder in 2010.
